Trifecta Writing Challenge #2

I have entered this week's Trifecta Writing Challenge once more.  (I can't get enough!)  This week, the prompt was to write 33 words using the word "worm" and it's 3rd definition (below).  Enjoy!

WORM:

********

Even if it's true,
I can't give you all the control.
Each kiss seems to try
and worm it out of me.
I think love is most dangerous
when it's spoken out loud.

  1. Damn - this is exactly what I was trying to say with mine, only you did it so much better. I absolutely love this. It is beautiful. Those last two lines are perfect.

    1. I really liked your poem, and the fact that you referenced those 3 words without actually saying anything about love. Love is indeed the universal language...! :)

    1. That means a lot coming from you, Valerie! I've only entered the past 2 weeks, but both of your poems have been absolutely amazing. Your win last week was definitely deserved. I look forward to reading more of your work!

    1. Thanks so much, Sofie! I have decided that I am going to attempt making my own granola this weekend - my plan is to check out your granola recipe and perhaps try it out! I'll keep you posted with what I end up with, regardless! :)
